Well we're back and yes this is very late. The story is one of sciatica, excrutiating pain and not yet closed, so I won't bore you with it.

Brian Train, who is also recovering nicely, returns again with some insight into the final Japanese campaign in Manchuria. Janet Phillips also returns with her pircr of Women Warriors -- and suggests a speararte article is in the offing for the role of women in American military history. Ken West offers his opinions on the American Vietnam experience and the myths surrounding it. Christopher J. Davis provides an overview of the biological warfare programs of the former Soviet union and Iraq, courtesy of the CDC.
