This issue bring a panoply of topics and should satisfy most interests. Brian Train returns again with another of his insightful analyses, this time into the plans, thoughts and discussions behind whether or not to use nuclear weapons during the Korean War. The truth, as Train demonstrates, is a bit chilling. Mike Flynn continues his exposition of the real role of a man whose name is synonymous with treason, treachery and double dealing in America. It may be have been a bum rap — and as Flynn continues to show, the traditional perception of Benedict Arnold is certainly one sided. First time contributor Ken West examines the nature and outcome of the Byzantine emperor Justinian's ambition to reconquer Italy for the Roman Empire. Was the cost worth it? You judge. Yours truly starts off this issue with a look at the destruction of the Baghdad by the Mongol hordes — a case of civilization truly undone, and an act whose consequences still linger. Thanks to the editors of Aramco World and the Mensa Bulletin, we can bring our readers a couple of treats. First, is the tale of bravery and audacity amidst which the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began. The latter article is a quick summary of what the Military History SIG and Cry "Havoc!" are all about. Coming Next Issue
