Does three consecutive years constitute a tradition? If so, then I guess you can call this the traditional year end, thanks from the Publisher. We don't have the money for a bonus so this will have to do. Cry "HAVOC!" owes a great deal to a number of people. Associate Editor Bob Miller has consistently produced excellent covers. It's not easy going out and finding artwork that can be printed on a standard printer, working with it to make it look as professional as possible then be told — "No, its not quite what I had in mind." Earl Toops is a gem beyond price and every editor's dream. As a reviewer I don't think he has a peer anywhere in the world. His travel accounts are always delightful and his comments from across the causeway to Bahrain go a long ways towards keeping us on track. What can I say about Jim Werbaneth that I already haven't said before? His support made Cry "HAVOC!" a reality from the very beginning. He has continued with more than just verbal expressions — which are cheap and require little effort — but by a steady stream of contributions, including the one in this issue, that are just top notch. It's not that he doesn't have anything else to do — he's a topflight game designer and editor of Line of Departure as well. Mike Flynn's articles usually dealing with the little known events of the wars we cover are reminders that war is not just what we remember, its what happened. Contributors who names only occasionally grace the pages of this newsletter are every bit as important. A large "Thank you" is owed to Jonathan Rice, Alan Marriott, and Karl Tschanz for sharing with us their opinions, time and effort. Hopefully others will get the hints and JOIN them in the coming year. And of course there is another "thanks" owed — to the subscribers who keep us afloat. You are every bit as important in my thinking as the contributors and I hope we continue to hear from you. Look for us to be back in 1996.
