Western New York Simulations Moko W. Cwiklinski 2085 Como Park Blvd Lancaster, NY 14086 Scale: 1/285th to 1/76 Notes: A group of gamers that has been around since 197 1. They game in everything from ancients to fantasy to future. In those years they have run a number of local gaming conventions, and more campaign games then can be counted. They meet once a month at the Apple Tree mall to play games and entice the unwary into the gaming world. Once a year, usually during the summer, they hold a "weekend war," which is a mini-campaign fought over a whole weekend from dawn to dusk.

Notes: The GDWC is a club devoted to the promotion and playing of historical miniature wargames of all scales an time periods. The club meets at the Tin Soldier on the first Sunday of each month at noon, and the third Saturday of each month at I I AM. New members are always welcome.

General Skirmish: 15mm, 20mm Napoleonic Naval: 1/2000 ACW Naval: 1/3000 WWI Naval: 1/2400 WWII Naval: 1/2400 Modern Naval: 1/3000 Notes: Our main areas of interest are WWII and the modem period, both land and sea warfare. However, some gainers are interested in areas outside of these and run games in that period. The group meets once to twice a month and usually runs one to three events at local conventions. We have at least six judges who I would qualify as "gamemasters," i.e., convention judges who have run at least 10 sucessful gaming events at a major convention.
