As with the other major armies of the world, the Japanese Army was interested in the use of Airborne elements. Both Parachute and Glider Regiments were formed, though the actual formations were battalion sized.

    4 Engineer Stands

ANTI-TANK COMPANY, with:

    1 47L44 AT Gun
    1 Gun Crew Stand
    1 Light Truck

INFANTRY GUN COMPANY, with:

    1 75mm IG
    1 Gun Crew Stand (DS)
    2 Light Trucks

NOTES

1. The regiment needed 70 gliders to carry it.
