1 Gun Crew Stand (DS) 1 Limber 4 INFANTRY COMPANIES, each with:
3 Infantry Stands 1 Weapons Stand 1 MACHINE GUN COMPANY, with: 2 MMG Stands NOTES1. The actual number of Infantry Companies could vary from 3 to 5 per battalion. 2. Garrison Infantry Battalions had a similar organization, with one less infantry stand per infantry company. In addition, Garrison battalions were made up of recalled reservists, and so should be rated as experienced instead of veteran.
