The need to cover the border between occupied China and Russia, especially in the Gobi Desert, led the Japanese Army to keep several Cavalry Brigades in service throughout the war.

      1 75L31 Cavalry field gun
      1 Gun Crew Stand (DS)

BRIGADE LIGHT TANK COMPANY, with:

    1 Command Light Tank/Tankette
    2 Light Tanks/Tankettes

BRIGADE ENGINEER COMPANY, with

    1 Command Stand
    4 Engineer Stands
    2 Supply Wagons

BRIGADE ANTITANK COMPANY, with:

    1 Command stand
    2 37L45 AT Guns
    2 Gun Crew Stands

BRIGADE AA COMPANY, with

NOTES

1. There were four brigades of cavalry, numbered 1, 5, 7, 9.
2. The Brigade supporting companies were not always attached.
