The French forces in the Gulf committed to the Gulf make up the 6th Light Armored Division. The units of this command are those which trace their heritage back to the old French Colonial Army, and represent some of the best elements currently in the French Army.

FRENCH NOTES

1. French Infantry Stands use the LRACF 1 as their Light Antitank Weapon.
2. French Airborne units may be dropped without their vehicles. Current tactical doctrine is to use the Puma Helicopters to move the vehicles and troops behind enemy lines as a blocking/raiding force.
