Prior to August 2nd, the Army of Kuwait consisted of two Armored Brigades and a Mechanized Brigade. Surviving elements of the Army fell back across the border into Saudi Arabia, and are currently reorganizing into the following: 35th Armored Brigade

KUWAIT MECHANIZED INFANTRY BRIGADE
RECON SQUADRON 3 MECHANIZED INFANTRY BATTALIONS TANK REGIMENT ARTILLERY BATTALION KUWAITI NOTES1. The Mechanized Infantry Battalion in the 35th Armored Brigade was equipped with BMP-2's for use as Infantry Fighting Vehicles. It is not known if these are still in use.
