While researching the French Forces in Italy, I came across mention of French units that were equipped with the 90mm AA guns, and ended up checking out their, and the US organization for these units. As far as I can tell, the only time that they were used in the same manner as the "88" was in Normandy to backstop the front line, and during the Bulge. It has some interesting possibilities for the gamer, as the US Army fielded some 40 some battalions which served in Europe during the war.
