Integral Antitank Weapons: All cavalry infantry, infantry, engineer, and command stands have Panzerfausts. 3. Cavalry Stands: The German cavalry units acted as mounted infantry rather than traditional cavalry. Only those units indicated as Cavalry (Infantry) stands may fire while mounted. 4. Unit Identifications: Between February and May of 1944 several strong cavalry regiments operating under Army Group Center were organized into the 3rd and 4th Kavallerie Brigaden (Cavalry Brigades). At the end of February, 1945, they were upgraded to divisional status.
