In an effort to bring.more diversity to the armies available for use with Ancient War Games Rules, here is the 55th army for the War Games Research Group Army Lists. This list, though still unofficial, represents years of tedious research, mostly on Friday and Saturday nights, to assure the utmost accuracy in bringing realism to the hobby. The suggested army is the Late Drunkards; scourge of the downtown area of most towns and villages in Medieval America. Not much is known about the Late Drunkards. They were valiant, courageous, fearless and unconscious most of the time. Almost all of what we know was learned in recent archeological excavations at what is now known as Brockton, Mass. The site is known as Ethelred's Swine & Still, a pub which burned to the ground in 783 A.D. under mysterious circumstances. The following list has been submitted to WRG for consideration. The information used to develop this list involved on-site study of the descendants of the Late Drunkards; mostly in bars and nightclubs throughout the country. Research has shown that in order to use this army effectively on the wargame table, one must experience the typical lifestyle of the Late Drunkard. Because even if one loses with this army, one is not likely to care. Of particular interest in the following list are the B-Girl units. They are almost a must for most Late Drunkard armies because they disorder camels, elephants, engines and siege towers. The 55th Army list is as follows: 55. LATE DRUNKARDSGeneral mounted on barstool or Iying in gutter @ 100 pts -- 1
