GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA I and the staff of The Courier extends is sympathy and prayers to any of its readers who may have suffered a loss in the Sept 11 atrocity. I lost four co-workers and friends on flight 11 and know how deeply this touches all of us. I have faith in the strength of this nation to bring a swift and terrible justice to the perpetuators. CARTOONS I finally was able to get Jose Niera to start producing cartoons for us again. Correspondence was always difficult as he lives in Ecuador. But the miracle of the internet has the cartoons coming again - I have several for future issues. BUT we always need cartoon ideas - if you have a cartoon idea, send it in - you will get full credit. ARTICLES While I am on the subject of ideas, I can use some more articles, especially Napoleonic and American Civil War ones. Go to our website at www.thecouriermagazine.com and check out our author’s notes. VOLLEY FIRE I never will understand the reader’s reluctance to fill out VOLLEY FIRE on page 64. Of all the renewals, changes of address, and orders we get each issue only some 4-6% take the time to fill out Volley Fire which is on the same document that is sent in for the renewals, etc. In fact, most responses come from those who are sending their Volley Fire response only and not renewing, etc., at the moment. The Courier is the only wargame magazine that solicits the reader’s input as to what is wanted in editorial content. This is your chance to tell us which type of article you don’t want and which type you do. So, take a moment to send this valuable data into us whenever you renew or change addresses. Those of you who have been sending them in - thanks, and keep them coming. Renewals and New Subscriptions You can renew and buy back issues through Pay Pal (You can use credit cards) on our web site. www.thecouriermagazine.com. Please be sure to mention it's a renewal.
