CONFLICT magazine is no longer being published in its original format. Instead of one issue containing several articles on military history and wargaming, the manuscripts are being published separately as with this booklet. This mode permits us to print more comprehensive material on a single topic than before. The wargames that were scheduled to be published in CONFLICT magazine are now being produced and sold separately. The new format games have more playing pieces, more components, a heavier game map, more rules, etc. than in the original production form that they would have appeared in CONFLICT. They now come in a clear plastic pouch for storage, and include a rules booklet with illustrated historical commentary, as well as new 5/8" rounded-corner, die-cut units. The newest wargames available are JERUSALEM by John Hill on the 1948 Arab-Israeli War ($8.00), and CROMWELL ($7.00), a strategic/tactical game of the First English Civil War 1642-46. Reprinted in their original forms are KHALKHIN-GOL ($7.00) on the Soviet-Japanese War 1939, and BATTLE FOR HUE ($7.00), John Hill's Viet Nam 1968 Tet Offensive game. These separate, improved products will generally be published on an alternating basis, with no fixed time schedules. Reviews are notices will appear as new products are finished.
