This is the fifth issue of Combat Simulation. It has been an interesting year working to quarterly deadlines. With each issue we tried to continue or improve the quality of both content and production values. During the year we received much positive feedback. We would like to hear from more of you, especially if you have suggestions for improvements or changes and additions. Of course, the most positive response will be your subscription renewal. Jerry Lannigan received some responses from individuals interested in creating a society focused on warfare during the WW II era. However, more volunteers are needed to get things off to a good start. If you are interested please write. Jerry will be running a Battalions In Crisis! event at Cold Wars '96, and we will be running our tournament (see the announcement in the center of this magazine). Battalions In Crisis! is steadily expanding. Besides most of the Continental United States, we have had letters from gamers in Alaska, Hawaii, Boliva, Canada, France, Great Britain, Ireland, and Italy. We see more and more games being run at conventions by people we do not know. We are pleased at the reception Battalions In Crisis! has received. As always, we are interested in any comments or questions that you may have. On our drawing board is Module III: 1939-40. The target is completion by the end of 1995, which for practical purposes means the release will probably take place at Cold Wars '96 in March. We also intend to release a set of errata on the rules and vehic1es when we have finished Module III. Phoenix Military Simulations has become your one- stop WWII shopping mart. We are now selling supporting products through the mail. If you would like a fun listing 1et us know, and we will send you a catalog. For a partial listing see our ad on the back cover.
