I had promised to attend the aforementioned show, to put on N.W.F. display game. But, unfortunately I was unable to attend at the last minute, so I have given over some space here for a review for recompense. (Gleaned from intelligence sources). John Tuckey and Sam Crabb & Company, of the Trilliun Wargames Group, staged their second annual show. The event appears to of been a great success, with the lads (and John) creating a very friendly atmosphere, and all proceeds going to Charity. The heavy rain and some horse race that went wrong!, caused numbers to be fewer than last year, but the quality of the display games had not dropped. 6 games were staged, including a 25mm E.C.W. game 'Braddocks Down', put on by Jon Meech of the Bodmin Wargamers, who's research into the battle site has resulted in the Royal Ordnance Survey agreeing that their present maps show the wrong battle site!, one up for the Bodmin boys. Several traders attended - Les Mills, Peter Pig, Vandrad, The London Wargames Depot, and Barry Carter. Bod Kiff ran the 'Bring and Buy', which did a brisk trade. Another show is planned for later in the year on Saturday 17th July 1993. With a large 25mm Napoleonic participation game as the centre piece.
