Scenario The armies of the Duke of Marlborough and Prince Eugene surprise those of Marshalls Tallard and Marsin and the Elector of Bavaria. The game will start with the historical set-up and all commands will have historical starting orders. From there the commanders are free to run things as they see fit within historical parameters. Each player commands several brigades. The rules are brutal and simple, yet produce historical results.

Scenario A hypothetical scenario set after the defeat at Kolin. A Prussian detachment under the brave but inexperienced Prince August William stumbles into an Austrian blocking force under Nadasty, whose troops have out-marched the Prussians (and his own main army). August William is trapped. The Prussians have better troops, but must drive across a strongly-held Austrian ridgeline to reach safety. Failure means disgrace and dismissal - Frederick is not the sympathetic type. Very simple rules.

The game will start with each side purchasing some new ships with a limited naval budget (you may also want to put a little away in your Swiss Bank account, in case things don’t go well) and then move to the action. The rules are simple and require little or no experience.
