by Kevin Smyth

Enfilade will once again feature our annual painting competition, which will be held on Saturday. Contestants are encouraged to get their entries on the competition table as early as possible Saturday morning. Voting will last from 9:00-4:00. Votes will be tallied between 4:00-5:30. The winners will be awarded their prizes during the 5:30-7:30 dinner break.

The competition categories are: 15mm units, 25mm units, Naval, Air, Land, Youth, Masters, and Open.

Rules

1. Entries for the unit competition must be at least twelve figures

2. All entries should be intended for wargaming, not simply for display.

3. The equipment categories are for single or multiple historical miniatures that fit the description. All scales are eligible for entry in each equipment category (i.e., the land category can include entries in 1/300, 15mm, 28mm or 1/48 scale).

4. The Open category is for miniatures of all scales that are not covered by other entries. This includes sci-fi and fantasy miniatures or terrain such as scratch-built buildings.

5. The Youth category is for painters 18 and under, and is intended to promote and honor the work of young or novice painters.

6. The Masters category is for those who have won a painting competition at Enfilade or elsewhere in the last five years. It is open to miniatures of all genres and all scales.
