Fire & Sword Hobbies

New Hobby Store

By Kyle Mishler

Fire & Sword Hobbies is a new hobby shop located near the Northgate Mall in north Seattle. Fire & Sword has tried to niche itself uniquely into the historical/fantasy war-gaming slot by carrying extensive selections of both Foundry historical miniatures, Museum Replica swords, daggers and helmets, Osprey Historical books and Warhammer fantasy and futuristic miniatures. In addition, Fire & Sword has a fine selection of historical board games from GMT Games, Clash of Arms, Columbia Games and Eagle Games. Another unique product line carried by Fire & Sword are Armorcast Terrain products.

Kyle Mishler, the owner of Fire & Sword Hobbies, is a lifelong student of military history with a passion for English history in particular. Kyle is hoping to create a greater interest in the historical genre for his younger customers by exposing them to products that illustrate the excitement and diversity of that subject.

Fire & Sword Hobbies has a large gaming area in the shop that will be utilized for both historical and fantasy league play as well as open gaming during shop hours. Kyle hopes to begin a DBA league in the near future.

Fire & Sword Hobbies is located at 540 Northeast Northgate Way, Suite C in Seattle. The telephone number is (206) 361-5574. Shop hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sundays 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.
