Enfilade 2002 has come and gone, and been officially deemed to have been a success (see article on page 17 for all the gory details). I had a good time (news that comes as a relief to many of you, I’m sure), and even managed to get into a couple of games, despite locking my keys in my car on Saturday evening. That was $50 that would have been better spent on figures I’d never paint. However, there are questions about the next Enfilade at this point. The Best Western Executive Inn is going out of business, leaving us scrambling for a place in which to hold the convention. This is a pain, because the cost of convention sites in the Puget Sound has gone through the roof in recent years. We are hoping that whoever moves into the Best Western’s place will give us a similar deal to what we had, but it’s too early to tell if that will happen. Stay tuned. I hope to see you all at Breakthrough in November. Pre-registration and event proposal forms will (hopefully) be included in the next Citadel. Yes, it’s in Canada again, but Canada is still inexpensive, the women there are still beautiful, and when you’re hoping to roll the ‘6’ that will break the Roman Legion you won’t care what country you’re in. So make your reservations now, and start planning for a weekend in B.C. You know it will be fun!
