I recently purchased some new 25mm WW2 at Fantastic Games from Westwind. I was really impressed with the figs, there is plenty of detail and will mix nicely with the Battlehonors (BH) 25mm WW2. The initial release were Americans, Wehrmacht and SS in smocks (a lot better than BH's SS). The figs come 10 to a bag, either moving or firing, 2 light machine guns moving & firing, or 2 heavy machine guns moving & firing. They also have specialty bags like command, Bazookas. Panzerfaust & Panzerschreks, snipers & flamethrowers. The only problem I find is that the weapons seemed a bit small for the fig. All in all this minor problem seems insignificant compared to the overall quality of the figs. The figs retail for $10 which is a very good deal for the quality. I also noticed in the current Foundry Magazine (aka Wargarnes Illustrated) that Westwind has just released British, Japanese & Marines with vehicles on the way. I now will add these new figs to my Easy 8 Battleground units and should have them painted for the games I will be running at Enfilade this year. So, for the insane 25mm WW2 gamers, our troops and vehicles are coming in variety and quality.
