I hope you all had a good Enfilade this year - I knowl did, even though I was only there for a day. I have to say that for a convention of its size, Enfilade has the highest proportion of beautiful games that I've ever seen. One of these days I'm going to put the effort in to create one of them. At least in my dreams, I will. Some of you may have noticed a few personnel changes on the NHMGS board. Eric Stjern is the new Secretary, and I have assumed the title of Treasurer. I volunteered because, as newsletter editor, I am spending the club's money throughout the year on publishing costs. So, instead of my spending my own money, then getting reimbursed, I can now write checks straight off the NHMGS checkbook. This will seriously decrease the hassle factor of printing the Citadel. The wired among you may be interested to know that the Citadel will soon be available on-line. We are going to be joining the ranks of Magweb (www.magweb.com), a site that collects gaming magazines and publishes the articles on their web site. For a reasonable fee, one can access the Courier, MWAN, and dozens of other publications, including many back-issues. NHMGS profits by this because every time someone hits on one of our articles, we make a little money. We're going to start with the Spring '99 issue and then fill in back-issues. What's posted on Magweb will be one issue behind the paper edition of the newsletter. Now that Ed Teixeira is gone to sunnier climes (and we're free to talk about him behind his back), some of you might wonder what will become of Breakthrough, the convention he organized in Marysville for the past three years. Well, fear not, NHMGS is going to continue the operation. Those of you who are already amazed that we can get our act together to put on Enfilade will be doubly amazed! Look for details about Breakthrough in the next Citadel.
