The eighth annual ENFILADE! will be held on May 22nd, 23rd and 24th at the Best Western Executive Inn & Convention Center in Fife, WA. This is the same hotel as last time and is located right off Exit 137 on I-5. The address is 5700 Pacific Highway East, Tacoma, WA, 98424. Their phone number is (253) 922-0080.

The following is a list of events we have received to date.

Period I - Friday Night - 5 PM-11 PM

Event Name: Hollywood Western
Historical Period: American West
Rules: Hollywood Western
miniatures: 15mm
Number of Players: 11
Presented by: Henry Thomson
Description: It's millions of Indians against a few pale faces. Players will need their own dice. Skill level is easy. Everyone plays on the same side. The Indians are randomly controlled.

Period II - Saturday Morning - 9 AM-1 PM

Special Note: This battle will run continuously through Period // and Period ///, break for Period IV and be completed in Period V on Sunday.

Event Name: Prokorovka
Historical Period: WWII
Rules: Century of Conflict th
Miniatures: 1/285 Platoon Scale
Number of Players: Up to 25
Presented by: Leif Edmondson
Description: The 18th and 29th Soviet Tank Corps clash with the 1st SS Panzer Division. New historical maps and data will add a bit of authenticity, while the rules allow this division sized exercise to be a fun and exciting game.
Special Note: This event will last two periods.

Event Name: Austerlitz
Historical Period: Napoleonic
Rules: Napoleon's Battles

Description: Can the Russo-Austrian Army defeat the best of Napoleon's Army in the depths of Moravia? All basic rules, all advanced rules except #14.3. Plus some optional rules.

Event Name: Sedan Lite
Hist. Period: Franco-Prussian War (19th Cent.)
Rules: They Died for Glory
Miniatures: 15mm
Number of Players: 12+

Description: The Prussians attempt to close a ring of iron around the French 2 nd Empire. No experience required. Red pants are optional. Bring a ruler deposed or current.

Event Name: Night Intruder!
Historical Period: WW II
Rules: Mustangs
Miniatures: 1/300th
Number of Plavers: 6

Description: A night fighter adaptation of the popular Mustangs rules. The scenario is based on the German "Operation Gisella" raids of March 1945, with JU-88s vs. Lancasters and Mosquitoes. Some player familiarity with the rules is desired. All miniatures provided.

Period III - Saturday Afternoon - 2 PM- 6PM

Event Name: A Free-for-all Dogfight
Historical Period: WWII
Rules: Confirmed Kill
Miniatures: 1/300th Aircraft
Number of Players: 4-12

Description: Bring your own favorite plane to a freefar- all dogfight.

Event Name: Narn-Centauri War
Historical Period: Sci-Fi Rules: Babylon 5 Wars
Miniatures: Spaceships
Number of Players: 6-8

Description: Battle between Nam and Centauri forces for the possession of Quadrant 27. Players require a medium skill level an all items will be provided, but players can bring their own dice and ships if they prefer. (Ed. -no Psi Corps!)

Event Name: More Mustangs
Historical Period: WW II and Post War Rules: Mustangs
Miniatures: 1/300th
Number of players: 4-6

Description: Two or more brief games. Specific scenarios to be determined. One will be WW II, the second will be some post war action.

Period IV - Saturday Evening - 7-11 PM

Event Name: The Battle of the Banners
Historical Period: Wars of the Roses Rules: Flamberge
Miniatures: 25mm
Number of Players: 4 or more

Description: Help decide the kingship of Tyrenland! This is a large medieval battle to end a miniatures campaign. Fight with the rebels to place the new regent in the palace, or under the royal banner to maintain the young King. No experience needed (or wanted - this is, after all, the Middle Ages!).

Event Name: A Horrid Mess in the Peninsula
Historical Period: Napoleonic
Rules: Little Big Battles
Miniatures: 6mm

Description: The French have caught the Spanish and British, and forced a battle on them. This is an action that took place without Wellington, the Spanish held and the British didn't. Can we do better now?

Period V - Sunday Morning - 9AM- Noon

Description: Unescorted bombers vs fighters.

Event Name: Pike & Shot Meets Cossack & Cannon
Historical Period: Pike & Shot
Rules: King's War
Miniatures: 15mm
Number of Players: 4 to 6

Description: East meets West in a nasty Pike & Shot brawl featuring Cossacks, Cuirassiers, and Cannons. Anything can happen.

Period VI - Sunday Afternoon - 1 PM to 5 PM

Event Name: DBA Matinee
Historical Period: Ancients Rules: DBA
Miniatures: 15mm
Number of players: 2 per game, Multiple Games.

Description: Wind down your convention with some DBA pick-up games. This is not a tournament.

Choose from over 40 armies or bring your own. No experience necessary.

There will be a dinner Saturday night at 5 PM in the Spinnaker Room at the hotel. This will be a casual social occasion for those desiring to get together for swapping stories and catching up will old friends. The attendance will be limited to the first 40 reservations as this is all that will fit in the room. All those wishing to attend need to make a reservation by May 15. There are two entree choices, which will most likely be Prime Rib or Chicken Yakima with apple brandy glaze and apple fan. These are served with an appetizer, potatoes or rice, vegetables, rolls and butter, dessert, and coffee or tea for $19.95 per person. Drinks will be available but are not included. The convention has six gaming sessions - Friday Evening, Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon, Saturday Evening, Sunday Morning and Sunday Afternoon. There will be three sizes of event tables available: 6'6" by 8', 9'5" by 8', and 6'5" by 16'. We can accommodate some other table sizes by combining tables. One event table will be held free in each game period for open gaming or pick up games. If you are planning an event, look for the event registration form in this Citadel.

There will be dealer tables all weekend and swap tables on Saturday and Sunday. The painting competition will be on Saturday, and a painted miniatures auction will occur on Sunday.
