Tank Aces - Stories of America's Combat Tankers - Ralph Zumbro, Pocket Books Military Nonfiction. 373 pages, $6.50 From World War I to Operation Restore Hope (Somalia, 1993) Tank Aces will capture your attention and hold onto it until the last page. You'll be introduced to the life and traditions of the tankers and their armored mounts. Personal Journals and various interviews tell each story from the warriors point of view. With commentaries from the author, who was a tank veteran of the jungles of Vietnam. Tank Aces is an incredible book that I think should be read by anyone interested in the history of armored warfare.
