Well, another year's ENFILADE! has come and gone. Which means it's time to get over that hangover and start painting for next year! In the meantime, get your fill of gaming at BREAKTHROUGH in November and SALUTE next March. As always, I will try to keep you informed on the when, where and how of these shows. On second thought, maybe you should start painting for next year's convention after you send me that article you've been planning to write for The Citadel.

You may have noticed that I have discovered clipart. I found some free sources on the Internet, and am now going to annoy you with the results. Let me know if you have any good sources for black-and-white military-related art - most of what I found is modern stuff. Which would be great if I got modern-related articles, but...

I wish to note the contributions of Mr. Jason Hoover, who graciously sent me a bunch of artwork (and some book reviews) for use in The Citadel. An example is on page 5, showing two F4U Corsairs strafing a Japanese Maru. Thanks, Jason! I also wish to thank John Kennedy and his scanner for making my life much easier.

Some of you may know that relations between NHMGS and the national organization have been a bit strained of late. They have wondered why we don't send them money and an address list of our members, and we have wondered just what they actually do for us. Some fairly colorful messages have been sent back and forth between various representatives, including myself. Apparently this was all thrashed out at the national board meeting at Historicon, where John Fisher heroically agreed to represent us. A brief summary of the results are presented on page 11.

Please note that I have moved. Not far, just upstairs to a nicer apartment. My phone number and e-mail address remain the same as before.
