Ahoy!

'Tis a Signal from Captain Corona

by Jim Mead

Our Wooden Ships & Iron Men/Privateers & Gentlemen campaign has come to it's completion. After reviewing the 4th turn orders and tabulating the victory points scored, The Allies had over a 100-point lead. I realized that no matter what the British players did, the Allies would win, so the message from Whitehall was passed down, and the British parliament sued for peace.

The campaign lasted a little over 4 months, and had (at one point or another) 18 players other than myself involved in it. This was the biggest wargame/campaign/role-playing game that I've ever run. I hope the players enjoyed it as much as I did. I would like to go over your input on the campaign so I can make improvements on it, so that we may play it again in a few years. I may even mail it off to the "NAVAL WARGAMERS REVIEW" if I can get all the bugs out of it.
