Well, this is my second issue of The Citadel and I have yet to lose my mind. I'm getting good articles (but I can always use more) and I'm still (mostly) on schedule. If you want to submit an article (and you know you do) or make a suggestion, I can be reached by any of the various means listed at the end of this column. If you know of people who have been thinking about joining NHMGS, let me know and I will send them a copy of The Citadel. I have extra copies printed up for people who might be interested. You should notice that we now have cartoons! These were submitted by Doug Hamm. I bet if we all ask really nicely he'll send more. I went north to see what our Canadian members were up to at their convention SALUTE. I had a great time - played a couple of games, hit the stores, chatted some folks up. Thanks to the members of the Trumpet Wargames Club for putting it on. There were some great looking games - a 25mm Shako demonstration game run by the White Rock Gamers was quite impressive, as was a Quebec, 1759 Age of Reason game. The scenario details for this latter game will run in a future (hopefully the next) issue of The Citadel. The venue (the Bonsoor Recreation Facility) was spacious and there was plenty of light, although there were certain grumblings about the lack of a strip club in the building as in previous years. What is happening to all those Old Glory 15mm WWII figures? The guys at Hobbytown USA say they can't keep them in stock because they sell so fast. What are all you guys doing with them? What rules are you using? I want to know so I can start mounting mine.
