TSR Games publishes this clever little game based on cartoons by Tom Wham which appeared in TSR's fantasy gaming magazine, The Dragon. Tom, who used to work for Lowry Enterprises when we were in Main (1972-73), and briefly before that in Indiana, and whose cartoons have appeared in Campaign as recently as issues 81 and 83, is an excellent game designer with a wacky sense of humor. In the cartoons upon which this game was based, the gods were bored, so they created a world to play with. Then to the world were added a number of creatures called bolotomi. A bolotomus consists of a squatty, conical body, a couple of eyes and a long nasal protuberance called a prolobosinator. After the bolotomi sit around on a beach for awhile looking for something to do the gods create a new creature - a snit. The snit is considerably smaller than the bolotomi and consists mostly of a pair of eyes, al long nose and a pair of legs. The snit was just floating in the ocean when he was overcome by an uncontrollable urge to run out on the beach and underneath an snandergrab (something like a rock, with eyes). When he did ... Pop! Five more snits. Soon the same urge hit all six snits and the race was on. The bolotomi, observing all this, and being true sportsmen, hit upon a new way to pass the time: snit smashing. This led to the game of that name that was printed in The Dragon.
