Games Received

by Don Lowry

Since it is now patently impossible for me to review, even in my cursory style, any sizable proportion of all the new games as they come out, I plan to institute a new policy. From now on, at the end of this column, after however many reviews I do get written, I will list all games received since the previous listing. However, to get this started, it is necessary, in fairness to those who have already sent in games for review, to list all those I have already received. This is done below, and because of the length of this list there will be no regular reviews this time.

In compiling this list I noticed that many of the smaller companies and independent designers fail to print their address, sometimes even their name anywhere in the game! If you want to get repeat orders and free plugs you've got to let people know where you are.

This list does not include role-playing games and accessories, which I've turned over to Jeff Jones for review in his column, or miniature rules or figures which will be covered separately. Also not included are numerous games that have been added to our stock by the companies whose lines we carry but have not sent specific review copies. Being listed here does not preclude a review in some future issue. But in case such a review never gets written at least the games have received some notice, and you are now at least aware of their existence. In those cases where addresses are given you can write for more information. Those listings that have "(LE?)" may be available from Lowry Enterprises, meaning they had not been received at the time of writing the listing. You can check our complete listing in the center spread to see if it's listed.
