Uniforms, Arms, Organization

If the Russian Civil War interests you, this Russian-language book is a must for your collection. Printed in Russian, this 48-page hardcover is the equivalent of an Osprey: 8 color illustrations, 17 black and white illustrations, 2 pages of insignia drawings, and 12 uniform color tables.

Now, if you don't read Russian, Craig Martelle has provided translations of all the captions as well as the 12 tables. They read well and are easily matched to the page numbers. Color plates are of Germans, Turks, US, Canadians, British, Greeks (1918-19), French, Romanians, Italians, Austro-Hungarians, Polish Republic, Chinese, and Imperial Japanese.

This is the fourth book in the Russian Civil War Series. Cost? $10 each.
