The sequel to In Death Ground carries on the war against the “Bugs.” The tech advantage is less, but the humans have found allies (other mammals) to fight the Bug-Eyed Monsters. But the Bugs still have a trick or two, and thereby hangs a plot of attack.
A worthy sequel.
