Roc, 2002, $6.99, ISBN 0-451-45889-3, 344 pages, paperback I enjoyed the Legion series, and so picked up Star Risk, Ltd., a tale about a group of talented folks forming the equivalent of a Private Eye Detective Agency mixing in a mercenary company action. The plot follows the company as it sets up shop and hires out to get to the bottom of who’s launching attacks on space miners. As expected, numerous plot twists follow Star Risk Ltd. as they untangle the tightly-knit knot of deception. All told, this is a pretty good novel.
