Book Review:

Citizen of the Galaxy

Ballantine, 1957, $1.95 ISBN 0-345-28911-0, 253 pages, paperback

This almost 50-year old story retains its allure, although rather a simple story at heart. Thorby goes from slave to outlaw to hero across the galaxy while trying to survive, escape, and track down the slavers. Wits, more than warfare, turn this tale.

I picked this up for 25 cents (it's the 1978 printing) at a used book sale. You can probably also find this in the library.

If you haven't read some classic sci-fi in a while, this is a good place to start.
