The second book in The Four Winds saga continues the battle for the throne, although following a different cast of characters. Again, it’s Samurai fantasy with swordplay, spells, and creatures, primarily following one claimant.

Despite some present day idioms like “samurai-boy” and so on, it’s still a fast and pleasant read for those with Japanese flair.
