I all began with maps I suppose. I have always loved them, even as a child, and along with books preferred them to the other sirens of youth. When historical simulations came along, they became the perfect fusion of cartography and history for me, and I have remained hooked ever since. As the years have passed, the urge to create has overtaken the impulse to consume. To that end, I've assembled a fine team to bring you this, Against the Odds magazine. My philosophy is that you cannot simply read history and understand.
