I all began with maps I suppose. I have always loved them, even as a child, and along with books preferred them to the other sirens of youth. When historical simulations came along, they became the perfect fusion of cartography and history for me, and I have remained hooked ever since. As the years have passed, the urge to create has overtaken the impulse to consume. To that end, I've assembled a fine team to bring you this, Against the Odds magazine. My philosophy is that you cannot simply read history and understand. Rather, to actively do history through the medium of games and simulations is to gain a deeper comprehension. join with me then, and enjoy, as Against the Odds magazine explores the boundaries of warfare.
