Letters to the Editor

by the readers

Dear J.D.,

I have been intensely studying the 2d edition stuff in Air Power, and I must say it looks very good and is very much appreciated. With the new rules though, you do get the impression of a subtly changed world, where the old physical laws have changed slightly. Kinda Twilight Zonish. A/C accelerate faster, you can't switch so freely between climbing and diving, AJMs have become BJMs, and so on. None of this is bad, you understand, but it does take some getting used to!

    Thanks, Chris Perleberg, Wichita, KS

Dear J.D.,

I'd just about given up on Air Power's continuing existence (oh ye of little faith). Then the remaining two thirds of my subscription expires like a Sidewinder up the ole tailpipe. But heh, that's great! Sorry that Tony was forced to eject. I agree he did a super job. Thanks Tony!

Regards, Keith Boothby, British Columbia, Canada Dear J.D.,

I'm impressed! Six Air Powers recieved in four weeks! ! And, you sent me number 18 which is past my subscription renewal date!!! I think you and Tony have done a fantastic job with the Newsletter. I really like all the 2d edition rules and A/C data cards on the Vietnam era war! Take Care, Bob Best, Concord, CA

Dear J.D.,

I know that you guys are faster than the speed of heat (oooh clever), but this is amazing! Two days ago (Monday May 4th) I received issues 17 & 18.1 wrote you a nice letter Tuesday the 5th saying I had not received issues 15 & 16, and bingo!, the missing issues showed up today, Wednesday the 6th. All I can say is please renew my subscription! Start with issue #19 (which is probably going to show up in tomorrow's mail!).

Your devoted (and very impressed) subscriber, Mark Dezendorf, Cocoa, FL
