Hello again gang! I can't believe that we have completed yet another full year of craziness and fun. Next issue marks the beginning of the LAT phase of the newsletter (Life After Tony) and hopefully things will continue to run smoothly anyway ( although as a pilot I am by definition, a terrible grammatacistand organizer, especially when it comes to paperwork stuff). Nevertheless, we still have lots of material on hand to use and the budget exists to meet our obligations so I do not anticipate any serious delays in production. "Over The Reich!" Progress Report: The World War II fighter game has been delayed so that "The Speed Of Heat!" can be completed and rushed into production first. Clash Of Arms games and I are looking for a June/July release date for OTR. As for the game system, which some of you saw at Origins this year in playtest, it has been undergoing a major revision. I didn't like certain aspects of how it played. The scale didn't seem right to me so that is changing. The flight mechanics, while innovative, are also being revised to resemble something more along the lines of Air Superiority. As of now, it look likes the game will contain about forty different aircraft and feature primarily air combat scenarios. I have made contact with "The American Fighter Aces Association", headquartered at the Champlin Air Museum in Mesa, Arizona and am approaching them about endorsing the game. Nothing solid has come out of that yet. HELP WANTED! NEEDED: CHIEF EDITOR FOR AIR POWER!
OTHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE: TWO ASSISTANT EDITORS / TYPESETTERS You are all probably tired of hearing how busy I am, but its true. I fly for the Airlines, I fly for the Air Guard, I have a wife, a daughter, a cat and a dog to keep happy, a new house to settle into and I'm working on two games. Now, with the loss of my right hand man Tony, I must also manage and edit Air Power. I could use just a little help with this. Serious applications only.
