Background (Hypothetical): It is the 1960's and the politics to kill the Avro Arrow have gotten nasty. To avoid making an immediate decision the politicians opt for a contest of strength that would decide the future of the Arrow. It will be pitted against it's historical successor the F-101B Voodoo. "Mano e mano" to the bank they go. Maps: ABCD (adjacent)
Game Length: 20 Turns. Notes: 1. Armament for either aircraft is whatever is permissable by the data cards, to which ever configuration limits are desired. 2. No visuals at start. Aircraft can only fly straight and level until they detect the other aircraft by any means. Both aircraft are silver. 3. Fuel use: Both aircraft start= internal x 0.5, bingo= internal x 0.2. Fuel tanks can be added if desired. 4. Weather: Clear. Crew Quality: All R. Roll for attributes. 5. F-101 data card appeared in issue 15 of Air Power. Avro Arrow appeared in issue 14 of Air Power.
