Background (Hypothetical): During the Cold War, Canada maintained many squadrons in the north to deter Soviet nuclear air strikes. Well, it happened. Can you, as squadron leader Dimsdale Piranha, stop the end of the world as we know it? Find out in this action packed solitaire scenario. [..sucking down too many moose-heads again, eh Paul?] Map: A B C D (stacked the long way) (top of A is north) Game Length: You and/or they are dead, you are out of ammo or fuel, it is bedtime. 1. The Badger's have nuclear devices on board, they must be stopped. The CF- 100's have the standard load out of the .50 cal's and the wing-tip rocket pods. 2. No visual detections at start. Both aircraft are silver. 3. Fuel use. CF-100 Bingo = 0, Start Fuel = 0.4 x internal. 4. Weather. Roll for weather set up if desired. 5. Move the Badgers forward, never change altitude. Use semirandom movement for the Badgers when the CF- 100s are in the 90 degree angle off arcs. If Badger facing south, do the following on a die roll: 1-6 do one 30 degree facing change, 7-10 fly straight. If die roll was odd turn left, otherwise face right. If not facing south do the following: 1-4 turn back south, 6- 10 continue straight. 6. Badgers only return cannon fire. Use the same deflection and SSGT modifiers as for the CF-100 fire.
