Background The time 1955. American uberpilot Chuck Yeager is the new the commanding officer of a squadron of F- 86F Sabres in Europe. The Canadian contingent in Europe, flying their new re-engined Sabre Mk. 5 took great pride in "waxing the tails" of their American counterparts. This scenario is extracted from the book "Yeager", in which two merciless Canadians bounce the great one and his wingman. So ensues the classic battle between pilot excellence and a technological qualitative edge. Map: A (North edge is from 0101 to 1901) Game Length: 20 Turns 1. Cannon shots and damage states are rolled for although they do not take effect. Voice effects and the occasional "Gotcha" are all that is allowed. 2. The Canadians start the game with visuals on the Americans, the Canadians are unspotted at start. The Americans can not change altitude or make turns fighter than EZ until they spot the Canucks. 3. American aircraft are silver, the Canadians are camouflaged. 4. Pilot quality is highly recommended. Chuck Yeager, F-86F #1, is a Veteran, tactics master, combat hero, sierra hotel, with excellent eyes and confidence, average fitness. The rest of the pilots are all Regulars, roll for their characteristics. 5. Fuel use. Bingo both sides is 0.2 x internal, Start fuel F-86F .55, CL13 is.6 x internal. 6. Weather. Thick clouds from altitude 3 up to altitude 25. This is Europe after all.
