It's just amazing how much mileage we seem to be getting out of this beat-up, old, but impressive aeroplane. I thought I'd stick it in this issue just for you sickies who have been asking for it for months. Of course you will see it in the Gunslingers game whenever that gets to the shelves as it was an important player in the Vietnam war. In Iraq, the B-52 was utilized to carpet bomb Republican Guard positions with great psychological, if not also material, effect. I think its a fascinating plane and you guys can figure out your own scenarios for it. This data card is also done in the new 2nd edition format so you can see what the future entails. All data cards presented in AIR POWER from here on out and in new games or supplements will use this format. The earlier first edition data card format is still fully functional and compatible with all 2nd edition rules and tables, so nothing you own is compromised. Due to the space taken up by the Gunslingers reference sheets and Turn Charts, the B-52D/G data card, which was to appear in this issue, has been moved back to the next issue: #14. Since these two issues will now be mailed simultaneously, this should present no problems.
