Rule 5:

Can half FP's be accumulated during the course of a game?

NO, only a single half FP may ever be carried and as soon as the aircraft's start speed includes a fraction (i.e. 5.5 or 7.5), the half FP must mate up and be used.

Rule 5:

Can a half FP carry be used if it would cause an aircraft's total FP's to exceed its maximum speed? Example, a jet with a max speed of 7.5 in the LO band is at that speed and has a half FP carry; can it use all 8 FP's?

Yes, the speed is till considered to be 7.5, the extra FP resulting from the carried hay mating up is a bonus.

Rule 7:

Can you stop or abort a turn in progress by beginrung a special maneuver without having to expend an FP to change angle of bank?

Yes, the first HFP expended as a prepmove satisfies that requirement. Beginning a maneuver automatically aborts any turning that might have been in progress.

Rule 9:

Can you fire your guns once, then use speedbrakes to expend a flight point and fire again from the same position?

AARGH!!! A rules lawyer question. NO!! Speedbrakes can use up an FP, but that FP is NOT considered to count toward any requirements for turns, preps or between shot movement.

Rule 9:

Does SSGT have to be restarted after each shot?

NO, once an aircraft fires, whatever SSGT modifier has been gained may be used for the second shot at the same target. SSGT does not carry to the next game-turn.

Rule 11:

Does the facing of a departed aircraft matter, or can you just check it when it recovers?

It matters as the aircraft may be attacked by guns or missiles while departed. Check its facing each turn of departed flight.

Rule 14:

Can you do more than the minimum listed number of prep-moves prior to executing a maneuver?

Yes, a pilot may draw out a maneuver by doing extra preps.

Rule 14:

Rule 14.A states that special maneuvers may not be combined with turns and that they cancel any turns in progress: does this mean you can't do turns and maneuvers in the same game-turn?

NO, you are allowed to do turns andl or maneuvers in the same game-turn; just not with the same FP's. An FP used to prep or execute a maneuver cannot be counted toward turn requirements.

Rule 14:

The Barrel roll example is shown as 3 consecutive LAG rolls; can it be done with more or less rolls?, what about displacement rolls?

Yes, it may be done as two or more consecutive LAG and/or displacement rolls.

Rule 16:

If an aircraft engages a spotted missile; is it also considered engaged against other possibly unspotted missiles?

Yes, but any unsighted missiles get the option to move first and decoys may not be used against them unless dispensed by an ECM program as described in Air Strike.
