Long Live AoN

Dave Ryan & Hawk Norton

Yes, this is the next issue of your Napoleonic Notes & Queries subscription. We hope that the stunned expression on your face will soon be replaced by one of pleasure when you see what we have done with the magazine.

Essentially, Nap.N&Q was so popular that we had reached a point where we were printing enough copies of an issue to make it viable to 'Go Glossy'. Our thanks to you for supporting it, and the myriad of authors and contributors who made Nap.N&Q really worth reading.

We will still have the N&Q section; so keep those Queries coming - someone out there has the answer. The Notes section will continue to provide useful and amusing snippets and a chance for budding new authors to get in on the ground floor. We are always happy to consider articles for publication. We have a team able to cope with most European languages if you are worried about writing in English (believe me, it's bound to be better than my French/German/Italian or Spanish!). International contributors (and advertisers!) may find it easier to contact our agents for information.

Well, we hope that you will enjoy it. You will be introduced to our new Napoleonic editor next issue, so make him happy and send him something to edit.
