Announcing the formation of the Johnny Reb Gaming Society! The annual $10 membership (US) includes a quarterly newsletter which will have original Johnny Reb regimental-level gaming scenarios, Civil War historical articles by various authors and writers, trivia contests for prizes, wargaming tips and strategies, terrain tips, and related information. Volume 1 will include articles on weapons by Brent Noseworthy, Buford's tactics at Gettysburg by J. D. Petruzzi, an original Johnny Reb 3 scenario for the battle at Shepherdstown, a Gettysburg trivia contest for prizes, a JR3 "cheat sheet" with the 20 most overlooked rules, and other goodies. Also included will be a FREE insert sample scenario in full color excerpted from Enduring Valor: Gettysburg in Miniature as a sampler for this scenario booklet series. Volume 1 should also include an introduction to the JRGS from rules author John Hill. Future editions will also include JR2 scenarios, even more Civil War articles, battlefield news, photographs, and still more JR3 scenarios.
