Here's a simple way to make them useful again. Make a rock wall, or and adobe wall or bricks, or that pesky corner a perfect 90 degrees. We'll make a form that will stay the same every time, and is easy to clean up. by taking a set of lego bricks and building them to the hight, width and depth you desire. Then pour in your mix to your desired item. I mix my adobe bricks in this fashion. In a old butter tub or cool whip container you would throw away, keep the lid (it helps if it will snap on tight for storage) to the side. Mix in your local dirt (I use window screen to keep the big stuff out) and water till it makes a thick soup or yogurt fashion mix stir slowly to keep the air pockets down, and then use grass clipping's or straw or weed's (dry only) on a 2 hand fulls to one batch of mix. Stir this slowly in till it is mixed well, pull out any twigs or bark that may be in with it, it will absorb some of the water and make the mix dryer and thicker. Now once this is all mixed you should have a thick mix that will stick together well and be just wet enough to spread to all the corners of your mold don't make big stuff out of this mix it is slow to dry unless you have a hot dry climate. or you can use an oven. Now to use this I put a aluminum foil or wax paper sheet under the lego form pour in your mix and tap lightly on the bricks to spread the mix to all the corners and release any trapped air in the mix. You can put as many forms together as you want and place them on the same base of foil or wax paper but try to keep a separation between them so they can be lifted off separately as they dry partially and then you can move these to a different drying table, porch or oven rack and make more . I found that on a good sunny day that the bricks will be dried out enough in about a half hour (depending on size) to flip over and dry on the other side to complete the process. In an oven it's a bit tricky due to the lego's but low heat around 100 or under is safe and check it about every 10 min or so look for the dry mud color as the sign to flip them. Once your brick drys it will pull away from the form and lift out easy. Just wash off any excess and the form is ready for another. And due too the lego brick snapping together they stay the exact same way each and every time. As in the layout of your new building, you use the lego bricks snapped together in a 90 degree angle and all your corners will be correct. You want that wall to be right, use the same form you started with just make it higher and the lines where the bricks meet leaves you the pattern to follow as you glue your wall together.
