When I hear the words Miniature Wargaming, I think of beautiful miniature soldiers fighting to the death for their cause--either to preserve the Union and free the slaves or to preserve a way of life and defend their new nation. When I hear the words Miniature Wargaming, I think of painting miniature soldiers to just the right colors. Then, you base and flock them so they can go off and fight in the war. When I hear the words Miniature Wargaming, I think of all my good friends in the hobby. Scott Mingus and Doug Rogers, the people I fought my first miniatures battle against up in Cleveland, Ohio. Or, I think about Doug Kline, the man I buy nearly all my wargaming items from. Or, Tom Sparhawk, the man I once accidentally called Scott Mingus, but then after he corrected me, he gave me the advice that I used when I bought my first miniatures. Or, Dave Reynolds and Jack Pottmeyer, the only Civil War wargamers in my area. And the list goes on, friends, acquaintances, even family members occasionally pitch in to help me out and game with me. This is what Miniature wargaming is to me, and I hope all of you know the feeling. I love Miniature Wargaming- IT ROCKS!!!
