Not so much news this month, but again we have a lot of activity for anyone interested in the Spanish Civil War. In a previous issue, we referred to the Amazon.com internet site--it is well worth a look. There are an amazing number of books on their list (largest in theworld, they state), many that I have never heard of. More on this next issue. The internet is a massive source of very good information, whilst I realize that most readers do not share this luxury, we will try to keep references to a minimum, although from time to time we will feature WWW addresses and recommend the best sites we find. I also must emphasize that the newsletter covers all aspects of the SCW, and therefore the readership extends to that coverage. The fact that we have quite a bit on the naval side of the war does not reflect long-term policy--just that several readers have the courage, skill and time to contribute what I think are excellent articles. Of course, in the throes of time, this will be balanced by more military and air war articles.
