Can any readers enlighten us on the Italian 65mm mountain gun. That is, we know it had an anti tank round, but was it used in Spain? The P. Chamberlain & T. Gander book on infantry guns says that the round was so ineffective it wasn't used: because of the short barrel and a muzzle velocity of only 350 metres per second, compared to the Bohler 47mm A/T gun at 630 metres per second. The new, Quiron Ediciones' bible on Italian guns in the SCW gives the anti tank round no coverage at all.
