Shows

by Rolfe Hedges

This is the last issue in the second years subscription. Hopefully readers feel I have covered areas that have interested them. This issue is a bit of an Italian special and has a higher proportion of articles devoted to them.

An appeal to readers would be a request for an article on the Carlists in the SCW.

Please note for the coming year subsciptions have gone up slightly to £ 5.00, rest of the world rates remain the same. I ask that readers please send in the resub's asap so I know the numbers of newsletters to be printed.

Abanderado and Bandera Miniatures will be at the following shows this year:

SELWG in Crystal Palace London Sunday October 26th (where Shepway wargames club will be displaying the SCW game featured in July's 'Wargames illustrated ' - 2 excellent full colour photo's of their game)
Warfayre in Reading on Saturday 15th November,
The UK National Wargames convention at Aston University on Saturday 30th August,
Salvo in Colchester Sunday 2nd November, and
not forgeting Triples in Sheffield April 4/5 1998.
We are also likely to be at Crusade '98 in Penarth/Cardiff (Jan 28th ).

To all those who didn't subscribe to year one the back issues are only now available in a bumper edition - carefully printed at £ 5.00 including P & P (UK only).

The next issue will include articles on Propaganda rockets, Condor legion individual markings, more reviews and news.

In the last issue we featured a set of rules called 'No Pasaran' (not to be confused with the Spanish boardgame of the same name). However I failed to include the address of the author - my apologies to Mr Thomas. I include by permission a review of the article taken from 'The Journal of Wargames Developments'.
