Virtual-Con aims to link GMs with a Virtual Game Convention across the nation; To bring gaming to a new level of organization and public awareness. See the V-Con YAHOO GROUP established to organize and coordinate a "continuous" nation wide Virtual Convention (V-Con). http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Virtual-Con/ The primary objective of V-Con is to promote miniatures-war-gaming by exposing the hobby to “non-players” across the Nation; we aim to accomplish this by encouraging GMs, game groups, or clubs, to use their local Library’s conference room to run their favorite games. Library conference rooms are typically “free” of charge to local residents and we estimate that hundreds of gamers are unaware of this available resource. From an educational perspective, Libraries are the ideal setting for historical miniatures. The same can be said for sci-fi and fantasy themed games that are based on published works of fiction. Make a difference in your Hobby, join V-Con!
